BUCKCHERRY: Go Behind The Scenes Of 'Don't Go Away' Video Shoot
November 18, 2008An interview and behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot for BUCKCHERRY's "Don't Go Away" single has been posted on the AT&T blue room web site.
"Black Butterfly", the new album from BUCKCHERRY, was recently certified gold in Canada for sales in excess of 50,000 copies. The CD sold just under 47,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 8. It follows up 2006's "15", which marked a huge comeback for the band after it was left for dead in 2002. "15" sold more than one million copies and produced several hit singles, with the song "Crazy Bitch" becoming one of the most popular ringtones ever.
"Black Butterfly" has sold 127,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
BUCKCHERRY came onto the scene in 1999 with its self-titled debut album, which went gold. But its 2001 sophomore effort, "Time Bomb", was a sales disappointment, leading singer Josh Todd and guitarist Keith Nelson to put the band on ice until 2005.
Todd and Nelson are the only original members still in the group. During BUCKCHERRY's hiatus they were involved with an early version of VELVET REVOLVER.
